Beleaflets

Many people who are living on the streets are suffering and have no idea of the services available to them to help themselves.

We visit un-housed citizens with Treeman to hear their stories and give them “Beleaflets”, cheat sheets to regionalized homeless services. By empowering citizens to empower themselves, our intent is to help others find the Bridge Out of Homelessness.

If you live in Los Angeles County you can print out our regionalized “Beleaflets” below and distribute them to those experiencing homelessness in your area. Sharing information and humanizing each other is a first step towards change.

We are currently offering our Beleaflets to LA County residents only. We encourage you to visit un-housed citizens in your area, to hear their stories and give them a Beleaflet cheat sheet with local homeless services listed.

HELPING THOSE IN NEED

“The Beleaflets originated when I discovered that so many people who are living on the streets are suffering and have no idea of the services available to them to help themselves. One day I encountered a young pregnant woman who was living on the streets and it was clear she needed help from someone with experience well beyond my own. After some creative Googling I found a variety of programs for women experiencing homelessness including those who were pregnant. She had no idea about any of the programs, I wrote everything down for her and instantly her face lit up with hope. Soon after, Treeman and I created the Beleaflets, a way to help those in need cross the bridge out of homelessness. “- Michael Angelo

OUR GOAL

Our goal is to offer Beleaflets broken down by Adult, Family or Youth and make them more geographically defined by entering your zip code into our website. Until that time, because there are so many medical clinics in LA County, you can supplement your Beleaflets with the closest medical clinic by visiting the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County and entering your zip code: https://ccalac.org/find-a-clinic/

Lionel’s dream is to lead the way so other citizens experiencing homelessness
can benefit from his story.
