PRINT & HANDOUT OUR BELEAFLETS TO PEOPLE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS
“Beleaflets” are cheat sheets to regionalized homeless services, simply choose your location and print out the local information, then visit un-housed citizens to hear their stories and give them beleaflets. By empowering citizens to empower themselves, you can help others find the Bridge Out of Homelessness. Learn more and print out your Beleaflets.

ST. JOSEPH CENTER
The St Joseph Center Hope Through Empowerment – Our Mission is to provide working poor families, as well as homeless men, women and children of all ages, with the inner resources and tools to become productive, stable and self-supporting members of the community.

SHARE! COLLABORATIVE HOUSING
A public-private partnership providing affordable, permanent supportive housing to disabled people in single-family houses throughout Los Angeles County.

VENICE FAMILY CLINIC
Venice Family Clinic provides high quality comprehensive health care to families and individuals who might otherwise go without the care they need.

SAFE PLACE FOR YOUTH
The SPY mission is to inspire, nurture and empower the resilient human spirit of homeless youth by providing immediate and lasting solutions, one young person at a time. 

MEALS ON WHEELS WEST
As formerly homeless people are housed, MOW West delivers healthy meals and referrals to additional social services that help maintain stability, health & wellness.

PROJECT ROPA
We restore dignity and rekindle optimism to people experiencing homelessness by taking to the streets of Los Angeles each week to deliver clean clothing and access to other hygiene services.

PATH – MAKING IT HOME
PATH’s mission is to end homelessness for individuals, families, and communities through creative collaborations, strategic leadership, empowerment for all, and passionate commitment.

Get Involved in the Effort to End Homelessness. Homelessness is one of the biggest issues facing Los Angeles County, get involved with LAHSA.

VENICE ARTS
Venice Arts ignites, expands, and transforms the lives of Los Angeles’ low-income youth through photography and film education, and uses its participatory storytelling practices to amplify the voices of underrepresented communities around the world.

LOWER EASTSIDE GIRLS CLUB, New York
The Lower Eastside Girls Club connects girls and young women to healthy and successful futures. Our state-of-the-art center offers a safe haven with programs in the arts, sciences, leadership, entrepreneurship, and wellness for middle and high school girls.

Circus Arts Flow Skill Share

Participate in “Circus Saturdays” a weekly circus art flow skill share in San Francisco. Follow “North Beach Circus Arts Flow” on Facebook or Instagram @NorthBeachCAF to learn more.

North Beach Circus Arts Flow “Circus Saturdays” is a weekly event in San Francisco where people of all ages can come to learn circus arts skills to find flow, just like Treeman. Creative body movement through circus arts is one way to achieve flow and detox from the anxiety and depression from digital screen time or other stressors in life. This is an all ages family safe event where participants are welcome to bring their props and skills to share with others. There is a neighborhood juggling kit donated by Club Fugazi, home of The 7 Fingers “Dear San Francisco” circus/theater show, just 2 blocks away. “Circus Saturdays” is one of many circus arts flow skill shares around the country.

Volunteer Filmmaking & Internships

“A DocumenTree” has been made almost entirely with volunteers, the filmmaking reflecting the storyline and theme of giving. Our team is comprised of film/TV professionals, college students and other volunteers passionate about filmmaking and philanthropy. Volunteers and interns are given training, filmmaking experience, IMDb credit and the opportunity to attend industry events. College students can also receive academic credit while building their resume quickly. Plus, we all have a lot of fun…

Moon Jelly Fallon, an environmental activist/blogger plus Heal the Bay volunteer. “Treeman and I both recognize that we are not just part of nature, we are nature. Respecting our natural environment is respecting ourselves. Along with my friends and family, I really enjoy making a difference in the world through volunteerism. TREEPEOPLE – URBAN FORESTRY PROGRAMMERS
Treepeople is an environmental nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire, engage and support people to take personal responsibility for the urban environment, making it safe, healthy, fun and sustainable and to share our process as a model for the world.

SUSTAINABLE WORKS
Assist cities in reaching their sustainability goals by conducting outreach and creating opportunities to engage with their diverse sets of residents and stakeholders. We provide their communities with the motivation, knowledge, and resources needed to integrate more sustainable solutions into their daily lives.

VENICE BEACH BID
A bohemian boardwalk beside a stunning coastline, as one of LA’s most-visited places, our community needs extra cleanup and safety services – more than the City alone can provide. The Venice Beach BID was formed to preserve and protect our colorful, exhilarating area by helping to fill the gap between community needs and the level of services the City can deliver on its own.
